Parental consent comes first
We do not collect information about a student under 18 without the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian, as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires. Every form that asks about a student begins with a consent box that a parent or guardian ticks. Students aged 18 or over may consent for themselves.
What we collect
- Enquiry and visit forms: name, mobile number, the student's class, town, language preference, and optionally email and a message.
- Fee-structure requests: the same contact details and the programme.
- The Readiness Profile: parent and student details, the student's date of birth (to know their age; never displayed), answers to the profile, and written answers.
- The Parent Alignment declaration: parent and student details, answers, commitments and the written declaration.
Why we use it
To reply to you, to prepare the readiness report, to arrange counselling, visits and the campus assessment, and to keep a record of the parent's declaration. We do not use it for anything else, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where it is kept
Form submissions are received through our website host's form service and accessed by the admissions team. Readiness Profile answers are seen by the admissions team and counsellors. Free-text answers are read by a counsellor, not scored by a machine.
How long we keep it
Enquiries for up to two years; Readiness Profiles and declarations for the duration of the admission cycle and, for admitted students, for the period of study. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, and you may withdraw consent at any time, by writing to admissions@drvarunexamexcellence.com. We reply within 30 days.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may keep your place in a multi-step form for the current tab, and nothing else.
Photographs
Photographs of students appear only with written consent from a parent or guardian. To ask for a photograph to be removed, write to us.
